Please know that the SBAC is just a “test of the test.” We are NOT testing students’ knowledge on Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and NO student, school or district scores will be reported this year.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit or view a student practice test, you are encouraged to do so with your child. Each student has been trained on how to access the practice test, and encouraged to take a couple of tests. The website is sbac.portal.airast.org. Click on the “Practice and Training Tests” icon.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, Mrs. Boeve or me.

Student Allergies
We have many students that have been diagnosed with severe allergies to common things such as peanuts, fish, tree nuts, milk, gluten, grass, bee stings, etc. Allergic reactions range from mild skin irritation to anaphylactic shock.   Peanuts and tree nuts produce the strongest reactions for our students. Staff personnel have taken steps to keep our students as safe as possible while they are at school, but once again we are asking for assistance from our community. Please screen the items that you send with your child for snack and/or lunch – even trace amounts of the above items can have very serious consequences.  We appreciate your assistance in helping to keep our environment as safe as possible for all of our students.

Click on the Create Parent Login tab at the top right to register as a parent on our website. Directions for creating a new account and/or adding your child(ren) to
your account can be found under Students●Parents in the top menu area.
